Photoshop class finished!

Woohoo! I passed my Photoshop class! Now on to InDesign!

That should take until about early October. Then, I will want to start designing book covers but I will probably need a short break to have this baby girl and recover. But after that, I definitely want some practice designing covers for you all!!

 Good morning, and happy Friday!

I am working on a tutorial for writing flash fiction and I’m looking for your input. I’m mentoring some young teens on their writing skills. I would like to do a series on how to write flash fiction and I would love some feedback from fellow authors out there!

I have a few interview questions that would take 5 minutes to answer to get an idea of YOUR writing process for flash fiction. Then, I’ll either feature one author per post and list their answers to the questions, or I will mix and match with a few authors per post and their responses. Either way, I would include all your contact info and links back to your websites and any other credit you want me to give you.

1) Do you usually have a plan for the whole story when you first start writing or do you fly by the seat of your pants and make it up as you go?

2) How much character development do you do before writing a story?

3) Do you usually meet the word count goal on the first draft or do you have to do some or major editing to strip out excess words or add words to meet the word count goal?

4) How do you decide what details to include about a character or even and what not to include?

5) Do you write a draft then leave it for a day or more and go back later to make sure you still like it?

Blog Post from Finding Thanks – Monologueing
